CorpGov hosted a fireside chat with Michael Verrechia, Partner and Managing Director of the M&A and Activism Advisory Group at Morrow Sodali at the 36th Annual Tulane Corporate Law Institute in New Orleans, Louisiana. The in-person interview was joined by Editor-in-Chief John Jannarone and they discussed the implications of the Universal Proxy Card, currently the centerpiece of the fight at The Walt Disney Co. (NYSE: DIS).

The situation is even more unusual at Disney because of the enormous presence of retail investors who rarely vote – let alone manage so many choices. Mr. Verrechia shared his insights on how the process may shake out.
