Universal Truckload: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

WARREN, Mich. (AP) _ Universal Truckload Services Inc. (ULH) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $9 million.

The Warren, Michigan-based company said it had profit of 32 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 55 cents per share.

The trucking and logistics company posted revenue of $386.4 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $52.2 million, or $1.84 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.46 billion.

Universal Truckload shares have increased 30 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $23.56, an increase of slightly more than 6 percent in the last 12 months.
