David Stockton now has yet another chance to follow in his father’s footsteps.

The Jazz reportedly signed David, who is the son of 10-time All-Star point guard John Stockton, to a 10-day contract, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

David has been playing for the Reno Bighorns in the G League, and is averaging 16.3 points and 5.9 assists for them this season.

John played for the Jazz from 1984-2003, and is the NBA’s all-time assists (15,806) and steals (3,265) leader. He was inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame in 2009.

Hey, like father, like son, right?
