ROANOKE, Ind. (AP) _ Vera Bradley Inc. (VRA) on Wednesday reported fiscal third-quarter profit of $139,000.

The Roanoke, Indiana-based company said it had profit of less than 1 cent on a per-share basis. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 20 cents per share.

The handbag and accessories company posted revenue of $127.5 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in January, Vera Bradley expects its per-share earnings to range from 49 cents to 53 cents.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $155 million to $162 million for the fiscal fourth quarter. Analysts surveyed by Zacks had expected revenue of $162 million.

Vera Bradley expects full-year earnings in the range of 90 cents to 94 cents per share, with revenue ranging from $492 million to $500 million.

Vera Bradley shares have risen 40% since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 19% in the last 12 months.
