From Men's Health

• Dr. Pimple Popper probes for blackheads and knocks off dried skin flakes from seborrheic keratosis in a new Instagram video.
• Seborrheic keratosis is a condition marked by benign, mole-like spots.
• She promises this is a taste, as more videos from this surgery are to come to her 3.7 million followers.

Today’s Dr. Pimple Popper Instagram upload is like a movie teaser trailer. The TLC host and dermatological superstar presents a brief clip to preview what she promises is an epic presentation.

In the clip, dermatologist Dr. Sandra Lee, MD probes a patient’s back for blackheads, using a pin to loosen them and a comedone extractor to squeeze out a few drops of crusty blackened keratin. It is just a taster; the description asks viewers to “stay tuned because I'll be posting more from this video over the next couple of weeks!”

There's even a movie trailer-like voiceover in which Lee deliberates about the direction of her life: “When you’re young you think, ‘Oh, this is my life; if I don’t get into this thing or this program or do this my life is over,” she muses as she sticks her patient’s skin with another pinprick. “There’s so many things we do in our life and you look back and think, ‘How did I even get here? How am I popping pimples in all these people?’”

A Dr. Pimple Popper biopic would include such a line in its trailer. (Our dream casting for such a project: Constance Wu as Sandra Lee and Charlize Theron as Momma Squishy.)

Later in the video, Lee knocks a few flakes related to seborrheic keratosis, a skin condition marked by benign dark spots on the skin. We’ll see more in the coming weeks as we get to the feature presentation.
