Leading the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) rumor mill today is news of when iPhone 8 preorders will start. Today, we’ll look at that and other Apple Rumors for Wednesday.

iPhone 8 Preorders: AAPL fans will be able to place preorders for the iPhone 8 starting this Friday. According to the tech company’s website, iPhone 8 preorders will start at 12:01 a.m. PDT on Sept. 15, 2017. This will include the normal iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus. The devices start at $699 and $799, respectively. However, there are payment plan options and the ability to reduce this price by trading in an older iPhone. The iPhone X won’t launch until November.
4K Movies: The Apple TV 4K will let customers play 4K movies bought through iTunes, reports MacRumors. Just about all of the major movie studios are supporting selling 4K movies for $20 each via iTunes, but there is one that isn’t. Walt Disney Co’s (NYSE:DIS) was the only major movie studio not listed during the tech company’s presentation. It’s possible that DIS is unwilling to sell its 4K movies for just $20. The company does sell these movies through other retailers, but for $25 each.

iPad Pro Price: Apple has updated the price for the iPad Pro, BGR notes. When the company’s online store went down yesterday, it came back with updates that included the new devices shown off in its keynote event. There was also another change that wasn’t as prominent. AAPL is now charging an additional $50 for some models of the iPad Pro. This change comes despite the company not updating the devices. It is currently unknown why the price for some versions of the iPad Pro has increased.
