From Delish

Sliders are a classic app. You can have them at any party, whether it's a bougie gathering or a Super Bowl party. There are tons of ways to make them, from low-carb to dessert sliders. But at Macchina, they've created a new version that is blowing up Instagram: CHICKEN PARM GARLIC KNOT SLIDERS.

These garlic knot sliders came onto the scene in fall 2019 and quickly became one of Macchina's most popular menu items. They make hundreds every day. While most garlic knots are drenched in garlic sauce, these are seasoned with spices similar to what's on an everything bagel. The chicken cutlets are coated in the same mix because consistency. After the knots are sliced, they're layered with a generous portion of paprika aioli, fried chicken, marinara and cheese. A sprinkle of parmesan later and they're ready to slide straight into your mouth.

But sliders are technically an app, unless you plan on making a meal out of these sliders which go for it, so time for the main course. Enter: burrata pizza. When I first moved to the city, my friends would tell me about this burrata pizza. It's a classic pizza...with a giant ball of house-made burrata smack in the middle. It was worth they hype, but also the kind of pizza I wanted a knife and fork to eat.

If you want something meatier, their fried mozzarella burger has also become a favorite. Instead of buns—they're really not into buns here—the burger is built on rosemary focaccia. It's layered with kale pesto aioli, a patty, fried mozzarella, marinara, and cheese. The fried mozz is perfectly oozy and it was basically having a giant mozzarella stick on a burger.
