The day is finally here: Disney+ has launched! The streaming service is now available on smart TVs, gaming consoles, Amazon Fire TV and tablets, Roku TVs, iPhones, Androids and more, with 7,500 shows and 500 movies ready for binging. And, maybe the best part—there are zero ads.

Of course, you can watch as you normally would, kicked back on your couch in your sweatpants in front on your television, but if can't wait until you get home, you can also stream on-the-go with the Disney+ iPhone app and Disney+ app iOS.

If you know you'll be lacking access to Wi-Fi or data, say on the train to work or while taking the kids to school, you can also download movies and shows in advance to watch whenever. (That's where signing up and downloading the app on your phone or tablet especially comes in handy!)

Here's exactly how to subscribe and download the Disney+ app on your phone so you can starting watching the 12 new original movies and series (plus 8,000 other things as mentioned) ASAP.

1. Sign up for Disney+

There are a few options when it comes to getting access to the streaming service. You can start out with a free one-week trial, or if you're ready to commit, sign up for $6.99 per month. By far the best deal offered, however, is the Disney+ bundle which gives you access to Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ for only $12.99 per month, saving you $5 a month and $60 per year.

2. Download the app

It should be noted that you can also sign up for service on the app! Just download the correct one compatible with your device here: Disney+ iPhone app or Disney+ app iOS. Once you've got it on your phone, login and get ready to be amazed (OK, a little dramatic, but it's seriously great.)

3. Choose a movie or show and starting watching

Seriously, that's it. Once you've logged in, click on a movie or show and start watching. You can also search for a favorite program if it's not featured on the home screen, and if you see several things you'd like to view, create a watchlist.

Pro tip: Similar to Netflix and other streaming services, if you are sharing your account with your family or friends, you can also create separate profiles with different watchlists, so no one can mess with your viewing schedule.

4. Download to watch later

Click on your profile and go to "app settings." This will allow you to set your preferences to use data, save data by streaming at a lower quality or stream over Wi-Fi only. There's also an option for downloading movies and shows using data or Wi-Fi.

As mentioned previously, if you only want to use Wi-Fi to stream or have to put your device in airplane mode, you can download movies and shows to watch whenever you want. Just click the download button when you do have Wi-Fi (or use data to download, up to you) and create a downloaded list.

Not totally ready to commit? Get a free one-week Disney+ trial here and binge watch all of your favorite shows and movies, in addition to exclusive new originals.
