NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (AP) _ William Lyon Homes (WLH) on Tuesday reported second-quarter net income of $22.5 million.

On a per-share basis, the Newport Beach, California-based company said it had profit of 57 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 58 cents per share.

The homebuilder posted revenue of $519.5 million in the period.

William Lyon shares have dropped 25 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen roughly 6 percent in the last 12 months.
