On Tuesday, Netflix announced a very special contest for fans of the uber-popular show Tidying Up with Marie Kondo. The singular winner of the contest will receive a personal consultation with Marie Kondo herself. Yes, the Marie Kondo.
Hold on to your organizing boxes because it only gets better. The consultation will take place in your own house where Marie will spill her best advice for tidying up your home. To announce the contest, Netflix posted a video with Marie Kondo’s celebrity fan, Candace Cameron-Bure of Fuller House.
To enter, choose an item in your home that sparks joy. This could be anything—a photo album, a child’s painting, or a really, really cozy bed. Post a picture of the item to Instagram or Twitter and include a short description of why it sparks joy. Don’t forget to include the hashtag #gotjoy in your caption or tweet.
But you better act fast—you have until 11:59 p.m. PST on February 1 to submit your entry! Finalists will be chosen on February 4 and the winner will be decided the following Monday. Only one winner will be chosen, so make your entry count.
The contest was created in response to the hordes of fans taking to social media to share their own Marie Kondo makeovers. Fans can’t stop sharing neatly-folded clothes, impeccably clean bathrooms, and storage rooms that have been freed of clutter.
