Feb 29 (Reuters) - New York's energy agency awarded Orsted and Eversource's Sunrise Wind project the right to negotiate a 25-year offshore wind agreement, Orsted said in a statement on Thursday.
The award gives Sunrise Wind the right to negotiate a 25-year offshore wind renewable energy certificate agreement for an offshore wind farm with a maximum capacity of 924 MW, the statement added. (Reporting by Jyoti Narayan in Bengaluru. Editing by Jane Merriman)
