Before founding Automotive Financial Research, Hilgert provided automotive industry research for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Troy, Michigan.From 2004 through 2007, he was director/lead analyst, responsible for Fitch’s credit ratings of the domestic automotive supplier sector.Before joining Fitch, Hilgert covered automotive stocks for Oppenheimer for seven years in Detroit. Previously, he worked in the equity research departments of Stifel Nicolaus from 1995 to 1997 and A.G.
