Forget the 'Retail Funk' and Buy Ford, Gamestop & Best Buy Shares

Best Buy may be an unloved company and a volatile stock, but its underlying financials are in good shape, said Tim Rudderow, portfolio manager for the Mount Lucas U.S. Focused Equity Fund. Rudderow said Gamestop is another retailer worth owning, despite the high percentage of its shares sold short, because the pure-play game-seller is able to hold its own in the face of far larger big-box retailers like Wal-Mart. Finally, Rudderow is positive on Ford's stock saying the automaker will effectively make the CEO transition from Alan Mulally to Mark Fields.
