The US House of Representatives, in a bipartisan vote, has passed a bill that would require Chinese-owned ByteDance to divest TikTok or be faced with the social media app being banned in the United States. It now heads to the Senate where its future is more unclear. On Wall Street, shares of Dollar Tree (DLTR) are plunging after the discount retailer announced it would close 1,000 stores, of which about 970 are Family Dollar locations. Other tickers trending on Yahoo Finance include PayPal Holdings (PYPL), Block (SQ), and Tesla (TSLA).
