Israel and Hamas have agreed to a cease fire, following the deadliest Israeli and Palestinian fighting in seven years now. Israeli airstrikes killed 232 Palestinians including 65 children. This is according to the Hamas run Health Ministry there. While at least 12 people in Israel including two children were killed. Unrest was reported outside a mosque in Jerusalem earlier today but between Palestinians and Israeli police but it appeared to be limited in scope.

More trouble in China for Tesla now. Tesla cars are reportedly banned from some Chinese government compounds due to security concerns. This is according to a report from Reuters. Now it is not yet clear whether it was a formal order from the government or if it was a measure adopted by agency officials, but certainly a potential concern here for Tesla because we know how critical the China region is to their future success.

And Fisker is planning to make the first all-electric popemobile based on its Ocean SUV, but it of course, will be a modified version. Now the automaker presented to the Vatican with its idea this week, and plans to deliver the vehicle to the Pope next year.
