July jobs report, earnings: What to watch
Yahoo Finance Live co-host Akiko Fujita looks ahead to the July jobs report due out tomorrow while highlighting several earnings also due out on Friday, including Nikola, FuboTV, and Fisker.

AKIKO FUJITA: It is time now for what to watch on Friday. The US Labor Department delivers the latest jobs report. The US economy is expected to add 200,000 jobs in July. That's slightly lower than the 209,000 added in June. The report will also provide insight on two key factors for the Fed-- unemployment and wage growth. The Fed, though, has made it clear it will look at the totality of incoming data before making its next policy decision.
Turning to earnings Nikola is gearing up to report its quarterly results. Heading into earnings, investors enjoyed a week of positive news with the company surpassing 200 orders for its hydrogen fuel cell EV trucks. But investors are going to be watching closely at the company's cash on hand and costs in the second quarter. Other earnings on deck for Friday include Fisker, Fubo, and XPO.
