After almost two years of back-and-forth tariffs and a lot of tough talk, a phase-one trade deal between the U.S. and China is officially in the books. In the deal, China has agreed to stop forcing American companies to transfer technology as a condition of doing business there and to crack down on intellectual property thefts.
