Donald Wang, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager and Senior Analyst at Tocqueville Asset Management L.P. Mr. Wang joined Tocqueville in 2009 and manages discretionary portfolios. He is also a co-manager of The Tocqueville Select Fund. Prior to joining Tocqueville, Mr. Wang was a Portfolio Manager and Analyst of the Small Cap Equity Team at Reich & Tang Asset Management starting in 1999, which was merged into the Delafield Asset Management division of Reich & Tang in 2007. In 1996, he joined the Lindner Funds as a Portfolio Manager/Analyst and prior to joining the Lindner Funds, he worked at Spare, Kaplan, Bischel and Osterweis Capital Management as Portfolio Manager/Analyst. Mr. Wang started his investment career in 1989 as a bank analyst with Keefe, Bruyette, & Woods and Prudential Bache. Mr. Wang earned his B.S. from New York University. He also holds the CFA designation.

While the investment objective stated in a fund's prospectus may or may not reflect how the fund actually invests, the Morningstar category is assigned based on the underlying securities in each portfolio. We place funds in a given category based on their portfolio statistics and compositions over the past three years. If the fund is new and has no portfolio history, we estimate where it will fall before giving it a more permanent category assignment. When necessary, we may change a category assignment based on recent changes to the portfolio.
