Dow hits record intraday high, FedEx earnings on tap: Yahoo Finance Live
The Dow (^DJI) hit a record intraday high today as investors look to keep Wall Street's recent rally rolling. The run follows signals the Fed could lower rates as many as three times in 2024. Richmond Fed President, Tom Barkin, told Yahoo Finance this morning that the U.S. is 'making good progress on inflation', but that he is 'looking for consistency'. Traders will also be keyed in on earnings from shipping giant FedEx (FDX) this afternoon amidst the busy holiday shopping season.
