Citrix Systems Inc. (ctxs) shares rose 3.9% late Wednesday after the technology company beat Wall Street earnings expectations for the second quarter. Citrix said it earned $107 million, or 73 cents a share, compared with $109 million, or 70 cents a share, in the second quarter of 2017. Adjusted for one-time items, Citrix earned $178 million, or $1.28 a share, compared with $158 million, or $1.03 a share, in the year-ago period.
