Ebay recently closed gittigidiyor because competition getting harder in this landscape in Turkey. Last year Trendyol (Baba backed) raised $1.5B, Hepsi raised $700M. According to Daily Sabah, Amazon is also expending with new $100M investment to hire 1000 employees in coming months (they entered Turkish market in 2018). At this market cap, with the more cash available, Amazon should just buy this company, and get rid of one more actor from the competition. This valuation doesn’t make sense anymore.
