RACHELLE AKUFFO: All right, time now for today's Chart of the Day. In honor of Warren Buffett's birthday yesterday, we're taking a stroll down memory lane and how much his portfolio has changed over the past 20 years.

Now back in March of 2001, Buffett's biggest holding was Coca-Cola with $9 billion investment making up 31% of his portfolio. Now Buffett's second largest professional services firm Genpact, notably the key revenue driver for GE in the late '90s. Now Berkshire Hathaway also had big bets on finances with a $6.3 billion investment in American Express and $2.7 billion in Wells Fargo.

Now, let's fast forward to more than 20 years later, times have changed significantly. Buffett still has his old standbys, remaining invested in American Express and Coca-Cola. But Berkshire's top holding, Apple, now dominating 51% of its portfolio.

Energy is also a newer addition. And back in 2001, Berkshire had no energy investments. Now energy is 9.8% of the firm's total holdings, with Chevron and Occidental Petroleum taking the top spots. Happy belated birthday.
