Net debt was just above 8 at Q1 end. Made 1.5 in Q1. Sequentially Q2 showing 6$bbl higher crude price and 20$/bbl better crack. So adds 1.5B above Q1. Expect total debt reduction to be 2.4-2.6. So end Q2 at net debt of about 6B. Close enough to eventual target to project full FCF flow to stockholders in the 3rd quarter sometime.

Today is the day the contingency payments to COP end. More money in our pocket!!!
Bullish

CVE is the only high quality oil stock that has yet to break above its all time highs of US$40/sh!!! Likely to get there by fall
T
CVE is the best stock purchase I ever made. VTNR is a distant 2nd mainly because I got in when it was approaching $9, but still a champion for me.
I'm looking for a $35 to $40 sp for CVE before winter, well who's not hoping for higher but I'll go with that conservative value. Capacity wise, they can't address the increasing demand in a short period, add to that the summer maintenance for their machineries. My analysis = this oil bull run will be longer than expected. Congrats CVE longs!!! Heehaawww!!!
J
happy last payment day to COP!!! tomorrow we can officially close the book on the COP-CVE deal. all their shares are sold and no more contingency payments!!! just in time when WTI is about to fly
G
now the big guys are coming in the register...Drunkenmiller buys in....CVE going to US$30 by late August
R
Lets get a new resistance at $27.00CAD

TFSA hitting new records everyday. I love you CVE.

WTI now up to $110 - up $4+ for the day.............If CVE generates C$6.6 Billion free cash flow at $75 oil, how free cash flow at $100 oil or $110 oil?
CVE up 4-5% today.........going much higher this summer...........

New trader watchlist was published by these guys and it featured CVE. (http://traderspot.club)

Whatever gets thrown at the price of oil, whether it's China lock down (temporary), SPR release (temporary band aid), POSSIBILITY of recession, etc, etc, oil keeps bouncing back.
WTI up ~$4 this morning.............CVE cash cow continues raking in $.............
G
May 6 - COP confirms in their earnings call that they sold all of their CVE shares........that overhang now gone plus CVE share buyback plus high oil price, increased divvy plus future variable divvys = cash cow CVE going much higher..........
Y
just refinanced my house to invest more heavily into CVE
Bullish

WTI is up now after being down by almost $2 a few hours ago. If it maintains the $105-$110 range, we are going to do great come next ER. $28-$30 by next ER is possible, or even higher.

never a bad sign with insiders loading up on shares:
Independent Chairman of the Board recently bought CA$1.1m worth of stock On the 3rd of May, Keith A. MacPhail bought around 45k shares on-market at roughly CA$23.74 per share. This was the largest purchase by an insider in the last 3 months. Keith A. has been a buyer over the last 12 months, purchasing a net total of CA$2.0m worth in shares.

Owning CVE in this market feels pretty good if you ask me
G
CVE article just out on Seeking Alpha by HFI Research..............must read.........sees CVE stock price at US$28 in the next several months..........

Dang we got pounded severely today! The more I get hurt, the more I buy! These worldwide demand and supply issues will not be resolved overnight. It will take months, or even years. I caught more shares. I've re-grouped my portfolio since last week. Oil, food manufacturing and retail stores. No tech for now, perhaps by Summer or Fall.

I’ve updated my oil valuations for CVE, with 3 2 1 crack spreads currently being at 55.50 CAD with average WTI price being at 130.67 CAD. CVE is currently a money printer and SP should hit 30 very soon…. Im doubling my position in this stock and do advise all longs to be patient because they are currently in jackpot in making
