The state of Arkansas recently launched a redesigned beta version of its official website, Arkansas.gov, and made it available to the public for review and feedback. Citizens can experience the new, faster-and-simpler site at https://beta.arkansas.gov/ and provide their helpful feedback at the bottom of the screen. The site provides curated government services from disparate state, local and municipal agencies and presents them in a people-first, conversational way that helps Arkansans understand how to do certain things that require multiple government services or coordination with different agencies.

NIC Federal, LLC launched a monitoring service for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) that automatically notifies drivers when their PSP safety records are updated. PSP provides instant online access to commercial drivers’ safety histories, with the drivers’ written authorization, to assist motor carriers with the hiring process. FMCSA contracts with NIC Federal, LLC to develop and maintain PSP.

Citizens can now access the benefits of the Colorado Sex Offender Registry (SOR) with Gov2Go, the first personal assistant for government, on their cell phones. SOR is the Colorado Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) official registry. “The new platform on Gov2Go offers citizens access to registered sex offender information through the convenience of their cell phones,” said CBI Director, John Camper.
