60 days later and now below 2 bucks. wonder how Drexler and Wyn are feeling bout now. His saying "I got skin in the game" doesn't seem to be workin so good my fellow longs. keep thinkin we hit bottom so as to actually add to my position and average down, but this confounds even my 40yrs of equity investing. on paper, product and distribution locations are solid but the inner stuff might be beyond hope. Hears prayin we don't get crushed with a cheapo on the dollar buyout before a turn around if that ever happens.
I doubt Drexler is worrying too much about the stock price. He's trying to turn around the company. Wynnefield, maybe. They are down about as much as me on their overall investment, I suspect.
Cohencorp, it's been a horrible overall market. Many stocks with much higher quality business parameters than MSLP are down much more than MSLP since early December. I bought shares sixty days ago for $2.09.
I hope 2016 rights the ship for this company.
thx for the sentiments. of course I know market down for quite some time now. been in it non stop one way or the other for umpteen yrs my friend both short term, mid term trading and base long term positions. broker for 35yrs. sold out to cash at 13k ish before the big crash, bought back few weeks later in varied index funds for the most part. always keep out 10% fun money for a stock here there etc etc like Dr. Frost stuff, some high dividend stuff whatever. so over time I'm fine and dandy thank god:) now if we just continue to say bye bye to stupid endorsements Tiger's bag logo, Jen Selter's #$%$, Kapernick etc etc we can move forward maybe quicker!
I agree, cohencorp. I like the new UFC focus on training Team Elevation instead of direct UFC sponsorship. Less expensive and better for the fighters. I think it's reflective of a new marketing focus. I'm also glad to see Gregory and Estallela leave. Time for more mature and disciplined management.
any move positive is a good one at this point! but those are minor ones in my eyes. being down 70-80% in a yr or so means it needs a hell of a lot more than that. as I said, might dump a bunch of useless #$%$, take the hit now, run an ACTUAL commercial somewhere for the world to see besides body builders etc. I posted up few months back my pps is at 3.06 small position and asked board for thoughts few months back looking to average down to that same small positon cause it was and is tanking Drexler or not. I'd keep as I have your money aside and watch, hope, and pray:) we might be buying more at even lower pps if this keeps up. earnings reports still quite some time away. maybe words out already causing this continued drop. Have seen it many times before that's also why ive waited to buy down or even just hold my small and let what happens happen. hope yours isn't gonna be hurtful if it all goes south my friend or takes yrs to turn around:) here's hoping for good things for u !:)
well we now know where the recent fall was coming from! settle quick and move on guys
As previously disclosed on January 6, 2016 in a Current Report on Form 8-K filed by MusclePharm Corporation (the "Company"), on December 30, 2015, the Company accepted notice by Mr. Richard Estalella ("Estalella") to terminate his employment as the Company's President. Although Estalellasought to terminate his employment with the Company for "Good Reason," as defined in Estalella's employment agreement with the Company (the "Employment Agreement"), the Company advised Estalella that it deemed his resignation to be without Good Reason. Despite his resignation, Estalella remains a member of the Company's board of directors.
On February 3, 2016, Estalella filed a complaint in Colorado state court against the Company and Ryan Drexler, the Company's executive chairman, alleging, among other things, that the Company breached the Employment Agreement, and seeking certain equitable relief and unspecified damages. As of the date of this report, the complaint has not yet been served.
The Company believes that Estalella's claims are without merit and intends to vigorously defend itself

This stock seems to have been hit really hard. They still have some great products. I just tried a combat crunch bar for the first time and it's probably the best protein bar I've ever had. Is a turn around likely? It's tempting to get in at these levels. This could really pop with a strong earnings release
I bought in at 2.25. It's a very high risk high reward stock. They are heavily marketing the combat crunch line right now. If you study the google trends, it shows a massive spike in searches for combat crunch in the last two months. I expect a less bad quarter and a really good 2016 1st quarter.
The white chocolate raspberry bar is awesome. I eat them everyday. the local vitamin shop sells them for $24/box of 12. The owner of the shop also owns a few thousand shares of MSLP so he pushes their product to his customers. It's a great product so he believes in what he sells.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Another 10% drop in the stock price today. Sellers cutting losses. Spending outpacing revenues. The brand might survive but will the stock?
well lets hope u r right cause it aint lookin good my fellow stock owner. we need more than combat crunches. and in a hurry cause somethins up bigtime.
When was the last time you heard any of the higher ups mention share holder value when it comes to MP? I have personally been killed by this stock, and need a substantial rebound to happen. I think this is a good foundation. Any thoughts?
Sentiment: Strong Buy
fellow long, I must admit after yesterdays total disaster and the recent continued downfall even after Drexler coming on to fix things, I have posted several worries figuring the upcoming earnings or some some other disaster/ lawsuit etc was gonna come out but as u said the figures are lookin a bit better for sure and his statements were positive sounding. still wonder why yesterday we get destroyed but today we know rejoice. high risk rewards type small cap stocks I guess. bottom line, if u have some extra fun money, perhaps time to take shot and lower your pps cost at this point cause if turn around down the road is coming 1-2yrs whatever u pretty much gotta figure we have seen close to bottom. IMO
Just returned from a month in New Zealand. While in Christchurch, I noticed a prominent MP logo in the store front window of isupps.co.nz on Riccarton Rd. The other five brands advertised in the window were Cellucor, Gaspari Nutrition, Inner Armour, Muscletech, and prosupps. Cellucor and PS had the biggest ads.
I went in to speak with the store personnel, and they stated that they had previously experienced issues with restocking the more popular MP items such as the Combat bars and protein powder. They stated that restocking had improved significantly in just the past couple of months. This seems to jive with the brief report released today about the improvement in fill rates.
Nice to also see the recovery in revenues. I understand that significant work remains to be done, and achieving positive cash flow and eventually profitability is key.
Ya think that they might have released selected preliminary numbers to stop the collapse of the stock?
Not really any other reason to release early segments of the numbers today.
Their crunch protein bars are probably the best I have ever tasted and are ranked #1. This is a good step. Quality and taste has never been a problem. Margins and execution has. Let's see what new mgmt can do.
