When political correctness filters in to business, we get #$%$ manufactured by the Godless Red Chinese Communist, from one of the most polluted places on earth, made in forced labor camps, sold by Grainger and trotted out as some thing to celebrate.
Happy Earth Day!
there sales are awful...they follow leaders too late....buy europe company at worst time......now taking on debt to try and keep stock afloat,,,ship jobs to panama....time to clean house with upper management..and district and branch management .
how is it stock down, also down against sp average, industrials average. and insiders making millions whats the deal??Looks like against any measure company stock is not doing well but insiders getting big options how about give them millions when they make millions for shareholders.Good year pay them big, bad year just there salary.
I wonder how the TSR's are doing? So many of those tiny accounts are tiny because they just can't buy at the volume to show significant sales growth. Plus, the turnover with those reps has gotta be huge. Things like Amazon Supply has gotta hurt too... no way it can't.
Looks like waste of money. Why not just expand zoro tools, looks like internet only growth engine???Stores are becoming less and less of factor.Phones agents now have that call center attitude that doesnt work for a true industrial sales company long term.
That's really too bad. It was only a matter of time before it was reduced, or even eliminated. I'd be surprised if the PST lasts another 10 years in it's current form. They'll most likely switch to a 401(k) with meager matching and possibly (if the employees are really lucky) a 2% company contribution. Too bad. Nothing like artificially boosting the stock price with stock buybacks and reducing the profit sharing for the employees. GWW's stock the past couple years has been historically bad considering it's history.. Jim and the board of directors are getting worried!
He was forced to retire 8 years ago, but he had something worked out with one of his buddies to hire him back. Like a bad penny - Milking this company as long as he can
