Get her some boneless bucket !! RIP Ray Manzarek
Yum shares will feel the brunt of the Ghost City phenomenon. It's Ghost City melt-down time!
going through test stage!! boooyah
Who cares?
Who is buying
I wasn't whining about what the price might have been.
If you went back & read it over, you'd see I was simply stating that I knew the price would be considerably higher than it was a year or two ago.
BTW, They do sell 10 piece 'meals' with potatoes, coleslaw & biscuits.
But for some insane reason, they only offer drumsticks & thighs with a 10 piece
Unless there was a shortage of chicken that day, how hard would it have been to grab a 10 piece bucket, put 10 pieces (original recipe, white & dark meat) in it & sell it to me ?
I would have paid up to 20$
That's bad business no matter how you slice it.
If I wasn't a (long term) shareholder, I wouldn't give a ****

Well, let me EXPLAIN to a low information type such as yourself, how I see it:
1) KFC apparently doesn't sell chicken BY THE PIECE.
2) However, it does sell an 8-piece bucket, as well as a bucket with 50% MORE (i.e., 12-piece), as 8 + 4 = 12. (See, 4 is 50% of 8).
3) If they don't have a 10-piece item on the menu, then they don't have a 10-piece item on the menu. So unless you want to practice the "new math", or give the guy/gal at the freeway off-ramp/corner the extra two pieces of chicken, you're whining in the wind here, especially when you're griping about a "$9.99 special" from A YEAR AGO. Prices change, as do product offerings. Do you know how hard it is to find a VHS-tape cleaner today? (Neither do I, but there's got to be SOME effort involved, and the price sure has to be different than in the 1980's.)
Well, yes, it does. Covering a short can conversely bring the price up. Perhaps with bad news after earnings report and no movement in the stock, some shorts want to head elsewhere and cover.. thereby keeping the price stable. Perhaps.
So you're saying you would have accepted a 12-piece bucket with only 10 pieces in it for the price of a 12-piece bucket?
Let me explain this in such a way, that even someone with a severely limited mental capacity (such as yourself) might understand it.
I wanted a 10 piece bucket of chicken. That's all. No More, no less
COMPRENDE ?
Que?
So you're saying you would have accepted a 12-piece bucket with only 10 pieces in it for the price of a 12-piece bucket?
Huh? I thought shorting a stock brings the price down...
If it does go down to $60, that would be a good time to buy.
Sentiment: Buy
I would argue that if YUm wasnt so heavily shorted thy stock would be $55
this stock is a disaster with LNKD
just my 2 cents
I`ll admit, being in YUM right now will make you dizzy, but for the long term it will get better, may go back to $65.00 but not $60.00. There want be much growth for the next two quarters, I just hope U.S. & other international business`s can make up the China deficent. GLTALongs.
Sentiment: Hold
Why is it going down to $60? Then 29% drop was expected so apparently the market is willing to wait for a recovery.
